This website is really ‘about’ YOU. It’s about you seeing yourself in the stories I tell so you can connect more deeply and fully to the perfect, healthy and wise being that is your True Self. My stories are personal because my life, like yours, is a metaphor for the deeper truths in all of us.
Life is so simple, but only if we allow it to be. We all have our ways of complicating our lives – I have chosen accomplishment, busyness, trying to be everything to everyone, looking outside of me for all the answers. I share these stories with the hope that we can simplify our lives by seeing that we are all the same at the core. The truth is we are all looking for the elusive pot of gold and when we realize it is inside each one of us, we can relax and enjoy our lives more fully and deeply.
My name is Susanne Achtenhagen. I live in Boulder, Colorado, with my gorgeous husband and two young teachers (that would be my daughters!). Five years ago I learned about how our thinking creates our reality EVERY time and I vowed I would share this truth for the rest of my moments on this earth. Realizing my THOUGHTS were scaring me, rather than my life’s circumstances, gives me freedom everyday to live a bit more, grow a lot, find who I really am.
I don’t have the answers for you, no one does. I share my stories so that you too may have that same experience of seeing how our fear and insecurity are truly nothing more than smoke created by our own thinking. In fact, they don’t even exist except in our imagination. If we will simply let the smoke clear all that is left is our True Self and an infinite capacity to live abundantly. We all are connected to a deep universal well that will never run dry!
